Summon 10 units from any banner

In the Summon menu

The unit this step grants, and what it is for

Finishing this step grants Stone Alchemist (Senku), giving the starter route a guaranteed unit reward. Its Power at its highest tier is 0, so it is not an attacker. It is one of the two farm units, and the roster keeps it out of every ranked ordering rather than showing it last.

What not to spend yet

As of

Each banner carries its own cost, its own rates and its own pity count. They are not one system with one number.

Pity is counted per banner and does not transfer. Summoning on one banner moves nothing on another.

Summons that guarantee the band, counted on that banner alone.

An empty cell is a band that banner does not roll at all, so there is nothing to reach — not a chance or a counter of zero.

A single summon action buys at most 50 summons.

What a unit costs to run

Placing one costs¥225 to ¥2,200
Taking one to its top tier costs, in total¥1,350 to ¥92,800

Both ranges are across the 81 published units, cheapest to dearest.

The game’s own first-match tutorial puts it this way:After placing, click on your placed unit. You can manage and upgrade them to be more powerful as you gain Yen from defeating enemies

The four words that block everything else

Yen

The currency you earn inside a match. It pays for placing and upgrading units and it does not leave the match.

SPA

Seconds per attack, so a lower number is faster.

Tier

Three different counters are called level. Your player level runs to 1000. A unit's own level runs to 50. A unit's tier is what you buy inside a match, and it resets when the match ends.

Gate

A condition the game checks before it lets you in. Some gates are a player level; others are progress through acts or maps.

What we cannot tell you

Three things a new player goes looking for and does not find.

What each level milestone gives

This guide can’t show a complete reward ladder past the first milestone — treat what’s below as the shape, not the full list.

The AFK chamber, and what the pass says about it

The pass reduces the chamber clear-time baseline by 25, producing an effective speed-up of 14.2857%. The pass says: “+25% Faster AFK Rewards” The chamber also grants no player EXP and no unit EXP, which the pass’s own description does not mention. What that is worth to any particular player is not something the data settles.
